The world’s increasingly ageing population is becoming a pressing challenge to healthcare systems around the globe due to the subsequent rise in those with age-related chronic diseases. Tracking the ageing process in the population and understanding its interaction with these diseases are pre-requisites for implementing effective interventions to promote public health.
