Departments

The School consists of four departments:

• Department of Chemistry
• Department of Computing Science
• Department of Physics

• Department of Mathematics

We also host the Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of South China Normal University .

We participate in many interdisciplinary centres and activities, many led by our School including (but not limited to):

• dot.rural RCUK Digital Economy Hub
• the Institute of Complex Systems and Mathematical Biology (ICSMB)
• the Marine Biodiscovery Centre (MBC)
• the Institute of Pure and Applied Maths (IPAM)
