The University of Aberdeen is delighted to be developing its second British Sign Language (BSL) Plan. Our commitment is to create inclusive working and studying environments where BSL culture is celebrated, and accessibility is embedded in all our functions.
To achieve this, we recognise the need to hear the experiences of our University community to understand what barriers BSL users face when working or studying in Further and Higher Education. In collaboration with Robert Gordon University and North East Scotland College, the University of Aberdeen invites you to have your say by filling out our BSL Consultation Survey or by watching the video below and sending a BSL video to the EDI team. The consultation is open until the 16th of April 2024.
BSL users can also get in touch via Contact Scotland BSL.
