SFC and OSCR Reviews of Payments Made to the Former Principal
The SFC published the outcome of its review into the payments made to the former Principal in February 2020 – you can read SFC’s report and the University’s initial response to it here (https://www.abdn.ac.uk/news/13758/). The report of the University Court’s Working Group, established to respond to the recommendations of the SFC review, is available here. The Court, in June 2020, approved the Working Group’s recommendations and these are being taken forward, together with the wider externally facilitated review of Court governance procedures and culture that the SFC required the University to undertake. Together, both processes will also address the findings of the OSCR review which was published in July 2020 and is available here. The review of governance is ongoing and further information will be made available here on its conclusions in due course.
