The Scottish Government's Data & Intelligence Network (DIN) is encouraging students and staff at the University to sign up to its monthly newsletter.
Created by the Scottish Government in 2020 to provide evidence-based analysis to inform local and national decision making in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, DIN is looking to establish its identity within the space of data-led transformation, embracing transparency and collaboration alongside a greater understanding of data ethics.
Comprising of data experts and practitioners from across the Scottish public sector, including at the University of Aberdeen, DIN promotes best practice on the sharing and use of data across the Scottish public sector, in addition to bringing together resources and capabilities to address data challenges.
The DIN’s monthly newsletter lists upcoming events, interesting news items and blogs. To sign up email data.intelligencenetwork@gov.scot and also contact this email address to register for DIN’s monthly online Data Showcase event which features keynote speakers. Also follow @digitalscots on twitter to stay updated.
