Funding Opportunities with RSAT
Applications for funding are welcomed at any time, however retrospective applications will not be considered. ** The Trust will not normally support funding for fees for courses where the content wholly or significantly overlaps with the clinical radiology curriculum that the trainee is following. The exception might be that there is a clear and verifiable unmet clinical service need and there is a realistic prospect of the trainee continuing their radiology career in the North East of Scotland.
It may be that further supporting evidence is required from the applicant in the form of letter of support from a relevant specialist consultant radiologist or Clinical Director.
All applications are reviewed by a monitoring sub-committee and those gaining preliminary approval are forwarded to the full Board of Trustees for agreement.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application as soon as possible after these considerations, which may take several weeks.
