Combining live and recorded music, photography, film and anecdotes, 'The Fiddle at Sea' is an audio-visual exploration.Frances Wilkins, lecturer in Ethnomusicology at the Elphinstone Institute, will give a compelling account of the importance of music among Scottish sailors, and the impact of this music on those who came into contact with it.
