Join us for a book launch of Whudderin Heichts, the North-East Scots/Doric translation of Emily Brontë's classic novel Wuthering Heights.
The evening will feature short readings from the translators, Sheena Blackhall and Linda Smith. There will be discussion of how the work was completed and what challenges, if any, the translators encountered. The book, published by Read Fiction Direct, will be on sale and the publishing director, Dr Sally Evans, will discuss how the publishing plan came about. There will be time for a Q&A and book signings.
