Description
A fountain in various granites that looks as though it was designed to show of stone masons virtuosity. It is adorned with gilded Biblical texts relating to water.

Erected 'in memory of James Robertson, Bank Agent, Huntly, b.20 January 1789, d.4 February 1877, by his widow', the fountain consists of a square bullfaced granite plinth which carries on each side a polished granite basin and which supports four polished granite colonnettes enclosing keystone arches. Moulded crown above all: trying much too hard.
