CHERI director Jen Cleland has just returned to Aberdeen following invited presentations at the Universities of Queensland, Brisbane and the Monash Institute for Health and Clinical Education in Melbourne.
Jen gave an invited talk on medical careers decision making at the Medical Quarterly Fora, University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, on 20th February 2019. This was a really interesting event, with colleagues from UQ’s Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, as well as from Griffith University, Bond University and James Cook University attending in person or remotely.
Following on from her trip to Brisbane, Jen was a member of Invited International Faculty on the Leadership and Innovation in Health 2019 course in Melbourne. This course is a collaboration between the Harvard Macy Institute (HMI) and the Monash Institute for Health and Clinical Education (MIHCE). It attracted over 50 participants from many different countries, and reunited Jen with some of the people she meet when she was a Harvard Macy Scholar in 2010!
