Curtin Medical School was founded to specifically help address the health and workforce needs of West Australians. It welcomed it's inaugraul cohort of medical students in 2017.
This innovate new medical school has an formalised alliance with the University of Aberdeen. Maeve Coyle, CHERI's newest PhD student, is a part of this Alliance and will split her time between Aberdeen and Perth. Maeve's co-supervisor at Curtin is Dr Sally Sandover. She will be doing cross-cultural comparative work on the topic of widening access to medicine
