Team members from CHERI contribute to the annual UK Medical Schools Secretaries' Conference, held this year at the University of Aberdeen.
This annual meeting invites Medical School senior management teams from across the UK to meet for presentations, discussions and workshops on current issues facing their schools. The meeting is hosted by a different institution each year.
The University of Aberdeen were proud to hold the 2018 conference on 8th June. As part of the programme, Jen gave an overview of CHERI's current work and 'hot topics' in the area. Kirsty presented her study with high school teachers: "Engaging Teachers as Advocates for Widening Access to Medicine", and Ben a recent paper entitled: "Geographical mobility of UK trainee doctors, from family home to foundation training posts: a national cohort study".
These sessions led to an interesting day of lively discussion.
