PhD student Kirsty Alexander's research paper accepted for the AMME conference
All at CHERI were excited to hear that Kirsty's article “Why not you? Discourses of widening access on UK medical school websites” was accepted for presentation as a ‘Research Paper’ at the AMEE conference 2017. The competition in this category was fierce, with chances of being accepted fewer than one in six, so it was very gratifying to be accepted. Feedback from the abstract reviewers was very positive, highlighting the interesting design and coherent execution of the study, and that it forms a good foundation for further research. Kirsty is looking forward to presenting the full work in Helsinki.
