Careers Fairs

Attending careers fairs is a great way to meet current students and recent graduates. You can advertuse your opportunities and share information about the recruitment process. It is also a great way to promote your organisation. 

We run fairs at our Aberdeen campus and at our Doha campus in Qatar. Please see below for details of our upcoming careers fairs. There are also links to register (when available) and request more information.

Scottish Graduate Jobs fair - Wednesday 5 June 2024

Wednesday 5 June 2024, 11.00am – 4.00pm, virtual fair

Talented students and graduates are in demand. The Scottish Graduate Jobs Fair 2024 makes it easy and cost effective to reach these students and graduates from across all of Scotland's 15 universities.

This is Scotland’s largest online summer recruitment fair and has been designed to help your organisation connect with and recruit high-calibre, graduating students in a virtual setting.

Cost: £200 + VAT

A discounted rate of £50 + VAT is available for SMEs and registered charities. Please get in touch if price is a barrier.

Law fair - Tuesday 1 October 2024

Tuesday 1 October 2024, 11.00am - 3.00pm, Elphinstone Hall, King's College

This fair is for any firm who wants to raise their profile on campus and meet some of the best Law students in the country. Many will be qualified in both Scots and English Law, have legal experience with local and national firms – or  the campus based Aberdeen Law Project, have been mentored by current professionals and participated in the wealth of co-curricular activities and societies on offer at the University of Aberdeen. The student body at Aberdeen is highly diverse with students drawn from a wealth of nationalities and backgrounds and the Law fair is your opportunity to meet them.

Business, Finance and Technology fair - Wednesday 2 October 2024

Wednesday 2 October 2024, 11.00am- 3.00pm, Elphinstone Hall, King's College

This fair will represent a range of companies and organisations that are offering a variety of internship and/or graduate opportunities in the sectors of business, finance and technology.

The fair will be open to all students but of particular interest to those from our Business School and School of Natural and Computing Sciences.

Our intention is that opportunities on offer will be in areas such as accountancy/finance, business related, data analysis, HR, IT, marketing and real estate.

The student body at Aberdeen is highly diverse with students drawn from a wealth of nationalities and backgrounds and the Business, Finance & Technology fair is your opportunity to meet them.

  • Connect with our varied, motivated student population who are keen to explore paid work opportunities in the energy, engineering, and environmental sectors.
  • Highlight any current paid internship and/or graduate opportunities within your organisation.
  • Raise your organisation’s profile on the University of Aberdeen campus with an in-person presence at the fair and extensive advertising in the lead-up.
  • Provide an opportunity for our students to develop their networking and professionalism skills.

Your career, what next? - Wednesday 13 November 2024

This fair will represent a range of companies, organisations, professional bodies and education providers to allow our students to explore a range of career options that may be viable for them.

The fair will be open to all students; we anticipate high attendance from our arts based students as well as those in other areas who are open to exploring new and alternative opportunities.

We are aiming for representation from key sectors including charities, communications and media, education, heritage, public services, recruitment, and social care.

The student body at Aberdeen is highly diverse with students drawn from a wealth of nationalities and backgrounds and the ‘Your career what next?’ fair is your opportunity to meet them.
