Fifteen prayers ('The Fifteen Os') of St Bridget, continued
Prayer, O Ihesu Christi celestis, continued.
St Bridget invokes the memory of Christ's words on the cross: 'Father, forgive those who crucify me, for they know not what they do' (see Luke, 23:34) and asks that through his mercy and through the memory of his passion, she may have full remission of her sins.
lum in suo statu recte permanserat ita ut nullus\ dolor similis tuo dolori inveniretur quia a plan\ta pedis usque ad vertice capitis non fuit in te\ sanitas et tunc <quasi> omnium dolorum immemor patrem pro\ inimicis pie exorasti dicens, Pater ignosce cru\cifigentibus me <illis> quia nesciunt quid faciunt. Per\ hanc misericordiam et ob memoriam illius doloris con\cede ut hec memoria passionis tue amarissime\ sit omnium peccatorum meorum plena remissio. Amen.\

Prayer, O Ihesu vera.
The fourth of fifteen prayers of St Bridget to Jesus Christ (Oratio secunda, HE, p 77). She invokes the memory of the torments inflicted on Christ by his enemies during his crucifixion, and asks that through his suffering, she may receive his protection against her enemies, visible and invisible.
O Ihesu vera libertas\ angelorum paradisus deliciarum. Memen\to terroris et horroris quos sustine\bas quando omnes inimici tui quasi leones fe\rocissimi te circumsteterunt et colaphizacionibus\ conspuicionibus ungulacionibus ceterisque inau\ditis penis te molestaverunt,
