The University of Aberdeen is keen to welcome talented students from all over the world. To help students fulfil their academic ambitions and ease the costs associated with studying abroad, the University is pleased to offer the Aberdeen Global Scholarship worth £8,000. The scholarship is available to all self-funded full-time on campus Masters students classified as international fee status and starting their studies in either September 2025 or January 2026. The scholarship applies to both taught and research Masters (research Masters that start outside of September or January in the 2025/26 academic year are still eligible for the scholarship). The scholarship is in the form of a tuition fee waiver.
To be eligible students must be registering for a full-time on campus program and cannot be in receipt of external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships, except for awards granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust. Please note that the scholarship does not apply to the PGDE or DPLP.

By alleviating some of the costs associated with studying abroad, the Aberdeen Global Scholarship enables recipients to focus on their academic and personal growth as they establish their new home in our vibrant and welcoming community.
