In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, University of Aberdeen is offering two scholarships to students in Mexico and Vietnam applying for one-year postgraduate courses in Biological Sciences, Business, Engineering, Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture, and Natural and Computing Sciences.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 71 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at 71 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Application Procedure

  1. You must have an unconditional offer for a PGT degree in the above schools.
  2. Complete this online application explaining (in 250 words) your suitability for this scholarship and motivation to study at the University of Aberdeen. The GREAT Scholarships webpage provides helpful information on the opportunity.
  3. Selection will be based on your 250-word statement and academic merit.
