Description
The award has been generously established by Afetsi Awoonor, a business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist with almost two decades experience leading multicultural teams and turnkey projects at the nexus of public and private sector engagements. Please see below for full biography.
Eligibility
It is open to any Ghanian student ordinarily resident in Ghana who is currently studying towards a postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Aberdeen in 2023-24 academic year. It will be awarded to the graduating scholar achieving the highest grade point average (GPA) among the eligible students in the 2023-24 academic year.
Criteria
If two or more eligible students tie with a joint highest GPA, the £1,000 prize will be split evenly between them.
Application Procedure
Students do not need to apply for the prize as all students that meet the criteria will automatically be considered by the University of Aberdeen. It will be awarded to the graduating postgraduate taught student achieving the highest grade point average (GPA).
