University staff will have the opportunity to see some of the latest technology in teaching next week.
The Steljes Technology on the Move (T.O.M) truck will visit King’s Campus on Thursday, January 30, between 9am and 4pm. It will be situated in the rear car park of the MacRobert Building (between the MacRobert and William Guild buildings).
The reason for the visit of the truck is to offer demonstrations of the latest interactive equipment from SMART technologies.
The technology on display will include two interactive whiteboards which can be used separately or in multi board mode, which allows people to collaborate and contribute ideas from two or more locations, as well as an interactive flat panel which allows interaction via a bright LED screen.
Members of staff will be able to see demonstrations of the new technology throughout the day and will also be able to take the opportunity to try the equipment and ask questions.
