Aberdeen Professor to be awarded 'Eminent Scholar' award

University's Head of School of Social Science will receive her award at the International Studies Association annual convention in San Francisco (3-6 April 2013).

Professor Marysia Zalewski is the first British scholar to be awarded this honour recognising the international impact of her research on the field.  

The International Studies Association (ISA) has been the premier organisation for connecting those interested in pursuing mutual interests in international studies since 1959.

Representing 80 countries, ISA has over 5,800 members worldwide and is the most respected and widely known scholarly association in this field.
