Dear colleague Work is underway to repair the fault in the fire alarm system which prompted a temporary closure earlier this week of the Student Union Building (SUB) at Old Aberdeen. I will update you on Monday on progress of repairs which need to be completed before the SUB can reopen – hopefully this can happen at some point next week. If you normally work in the SUB, please keep working from home or at an alternative location on campus, until you hear otherwise. Just a reminder, services normally delivered in the building are now available online with some in-person provision on offer at alternative locations. Students requiring access to support services should email student.support@abdn.ac.uk. Queries for the Careers service should be directed to careers@abdn.ac.uk and you can also keep an eye on their website which is being kept updated. Sandwiches and snacks are available in the Sir Duncan Rice Library cafe and hot lunches are on offer at MacRobert.
