Museum collections serve as a powerful tool for Indigenous people to reconnect with their ancestors and as a site for remembering connections to place and culture. This presentation explores how visiting with historic Gwich’in material culture in museum collections has provided space for knowledge and skill repatriation of Gwich'in sewing traditions.
