Please take care if you receive any communication from a third party asking whether a student is enrolled at the University.
The third party could be another legitimate organisation, a family member or a someone not known to the student, and students have a right to confidentiality and they may not wish for their location or enrolment status to be disclosed.
What should you do if you receive an enquiry?
• Advise that the enquiry will be passed to the relevant team
• Take care not to disclose whether the student is / is not enrolled at the University or share that the request will be passed on to the student (if registered)
