The project commenced in January 2022 with four key business users and early adopters: CPD & Event Services, PERU, PASE, and the Business School who collaboratively formed the Senior User Group to share best practices.
The University launched its first live event on EventsAir in March 2023, celebrating International Women’s Day showcasing its ability in handling large scale events, managing attendees and presenters through live streaming, recorded content and interactive chat. Since then, we have run many successful events on the platform, receiving positive feedback signalling the platforms effectiveness.
An impressive 40 Events have been managed and delivered already using EventsAir, with two being virtual or hybrid so far, and a further 15 events live on the platform being actively managed.
The implementation concluded with the ability to take online payments in February 2024.
