Learn about Survey Season
This year the University will launch Survey Season, a new initiative to encourage student engagement with one of our four academic surveys, detailed below.
- National Student Survey (NSS) – Open 29 January until 30 April to final year undergraduates
- Undergraduate Student Experience Survey (UES) – Open 29 January until 30 April, for all undergraduate students excluding those in their final year
- Postgraduate Taught Student Experience Survey (PTES) – Open 5 February until 13 June 2024. Those who start in January will have a delayed open date of 4 March, closing on 13 June.
- Postgraduate Research Student Experience Survey (PRES) – Open 5 February until 16 May 2024
The surveys provide a valuable opportunity for students to share their views and to shape the student experience going forward.
The information gathered helps us to evidence the quality of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, compare and benchmark the student experience both internally and externally, as well as providing valuable data to support the enhancement of our practice.
Please help to promote survey season to your students. Visit the staff resource webpage for information and resources to use in your area. This includes lecture slides for use in presentations and posters to display in communal spaces.
