Celebrating the success of the Institute of Applied Health Sciences
Congratulations to the Institute of Applied Health Sciences team for their recent grant successes. Several members of the team working on different projects have been awarded grants from various bodies:
- Well done to Professor Gary MacFarlane (Project Lead), Co-I’s – Gareth Jones, Robert Anderson, and Rosemary Hollick: The Centre for Musculoskeletal Health and Work (CMHW): from research to impact – awarded £122k by the NIHR.
- Well done to Dr Andrea Woolner (Project Lead), Co-I’s Dr David McLernon, Professor Graham Scotland and Professor Siladitya Bhattacharya - Progesterone for threatened miscarriage: a Scottish national cohort study, awarded £298k by the CSO
- Well done to Dr Simon Sawhney (Project Lead), Co-I Dr Magdalena Rzewuska Diaz: Understanding and reducing inequalities in kidney health care and outcomes in Scotland, awarded £298k by the CSO
