Digital Strategy Forum - 12 December

Digital Strategy Forum - 12 December

An update on the rescheduled Digital Strategy Forum

Dear colleagues,

Following the postponement in November due to a meeting clash, the Digital Strategy Forum has been rescheduled and will now be held on Tuesday 12 December. The forum will run from 1.30pm to 3pm and is open to all University staff.

This regular forum provides staff with the opportunity to hear from and feed back to senior staff on any matter relating to digital in the University. Colleagues can find out about and comment on the digital activities that are supporting the delivery of Aberdeen 2040 and the current institutional priorities in this key area. Feedback will also be provided on the actions arising from the positive engagement and discussions at the previous forum in March 2023.

Members of the Digital Strategy Committee, Digital & Information Services staff and sponsors of key projects will all be on hand to engage in discussion.

The session will be introduced by Professor Pete Edwards, Chair of Digital Strategy Committee, and open dialogue, feedback and suggestions are greatly encouraged.

This will be a hybrid event, allowing people to attend in person or online. The online element will be held on Microsoft Teams, with colleagues online able to contribute fully to the discussion. You can join using this link.

The in-person forum will be held in KCF7, Kings Quad, Old Aberdeen campus.

The agenda for the session which will allow for questions and comments throughout, is as follows:

•        Director’s update
