Staff Hardship Fund

Dear Colleagues

The Staff Hardship Fund, established as part of an agreement between the University and Aberdeen UCU, is now open to applications and will close at 0930 on Tuesday 21 November 2023. Any registered staff member at the University who started working with us before 1 September 2023 is eligible to apply to the Fund. This fund will offer one-off payments to aid staff currently experiencing financial hardship.

Decisions on applications will be made by a Panel established to oversee the Fund, including representatives from our Campus Trade Unions. Decisions will be notified by email during the week commencing 11 December 2023, with payments being made in the December payroll.
