An update on the University website's move to a new content management system
Good progress is being made on the project to move the University's web presence from OpenText (which is being retired by the vendor) to Terminalfour (T4). The Web Development and Digital Communications teams have been working with T4 since the start of the year to design, develop and configure the product to meet the University's needs.
We have completed the initial design and development phases. Web Development have completed a full technical audit and staff across the University have already been involved, working with the Digital Communications team to audit their content prior to the switchover. The project is now in the migration testing stage, where the vendor refines the processes and software involved in transferring hundreds of thousands of pages, images and documents to T4.
We have published a webpage with key milestones and indicative dates. Here you will find an overview of the development phase, audit progress, migration plan and a high-level plan for staff training. This page will be updated regularly.

As we move towards the implementation of T4, we will communicate with all staff through the ezine, key stakeholders through existing channels, and existing editors through our OpenText mailing list.
