A ‘Court Meet and Greet’ event will take place on Monday 21 November from 4 - 5.30pm in the King’s College Conference Centre Auditorium.
The programme includes speakers from University Court who will outline the focus of Court’s activities and how it shapes the strategic direction of the University. They will be joined by Professor Pete Edwards, Vice-Principal Regional Engagement, who will lead a session on the University’s civic commitment and its place and purpose locally and regionally.
The event takes place as part of activities aimed at highlighting the important role of Court in overseeing the management of the University, and how staff, students and the wider community can engage with its activities.
There will be an opportunity to ask Court members questions during a Q&A session, and an informal drinks reception will take place immediately after the event.
This hybrid event is free and open to all. If you plan to attend in person please register here to reserve a space as seating may be limited.
Anyone with any questions about the event can contact Janine Whitfield, University Governance Officer, at janine.whitfield@abdn.ac.uk
We look forward to seeing you there!
