2020/21 Parking Update

2020/21 Parking Update

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation we will not be printing new permits for the 2020/21 academic year.

Instead we will be using a combination of e-mailed permits and a parking white list which will be generated from our parking database. To ensure we have accurate details for issuing permits, and to make sure your vehicle is included on the white list, please check that your personal and vehicle details are correct on the car parking database. To check and update your details please visit the Parking Permits system. You can use the database to update your details at any time during the year.

Annual Permit & Daily Voucher Users

Parking charges were suspended when lockdown was introduced at the end of March. As our return to campus working will be variable for different staff, charges will continue to be suspended until the end of the calendar year. You therefore do not need to pay for parking but must register your vehicle details on the parking database. All parking regulations remain in place and Parking Charge Notices (PCN) of £60 will continue to be issued.

Key points

  • Charges of £1 for daily parking and £220 for annual parking are suspended until the end of the calendar year
  • All staff who use either daily vouchers or an annual permit should check and update their details on the Parking Permits system
  • A Parking Charge Notice (PCN) of £60 will be issued to any unauthorised vehicle parked in contravention of the regulations
