Thank you for contributing to the Covid-19 effort

Professor Gary Macfarlane, Clinical Chair in Epidemiology, is leading a study that will examine the impact of lockdown on patients with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions. The £52,000 study is funded by the charity Versus Arthritis and the British Society for Rheumatology (BSR).

The Rowett Institute has contributed to a range of educational resources to help with home schooling during the Covid-19 pandemic, with free resources that allow children to become diet detectives, try being a farmer and even learn how to manage a forest from the comfort of their own living rooms. Meanwhile, a team from The School of Education led by Collette Savage has launched a free online course on how we can use mindfulness to sustain resilience and wellbeing during Covid-19. More information and how to sign up can be found here
