Staff have organised three informal language conversation groups in French, German and Spanish, after a number of expressions of interest.
There is no minimum requirement for language level, just come along and join in as much as you are comfortable with – native speakers are especially welcome to attend!
The groups start from next week, as follows:
- Spanish- Monday 1-2pm on the ground floor of the Students’ Union building. Contact- Laura McQueen, l.mcqueen@abdn.ac.uk.
- German- Tuesday 1-2pm on the ground floor of the Students’ Union building. Contact- Claire Bell, claire.bell@abdn.ac.uk.
- French- Wednesday 1-2pm on the ground floor of the Students’ Union building. Contact- Elaine Fitzgerald, e.fitzgerald@abdn.ac.uk.
The time, day and location could be flexible, and will be adapted according to demand. So far there have also been expressions of interest in speaking Mandarin, Welsh, Russian, Bulgarian, Norwegian, Arabic, Portuguese and Dutch!
