Careers Service Celebrates Successful Employer Partnership

White Cube Consulting Ltd, a specialist human resources consultancy based in Aberdeen, has been shortlisted for The TARGETjobs AGCAS Award for their sustained and impactful engagement with the University, our Careers Service, and our students.

Dr Joy Perkins nominated White Cube for this prestigious award to recognise their extensive contributions at the University. Notable activities include delivering inspirational STAR Award and Leadership Academy workshops and being a key member of the MA Employer Board.

Campbell Urquhart, Managing Director at White Cube Consulting declared, “It is always a pleasure to visit the University and support students’ career learning and employability. It was a complete surprise and a delight to be nominated.”

The news follows the accolade, Scottish University of the Year 2019, which recognises the quality of the University’s highly employable graduates. Forging these long-term employer partnerships is vital to inspire our students to succeed.

Tracey Innes, Head of Careers commented, “Employer engagement is a prime focus for the University and developing innovative approaches to connect our students with employers is crucial.”

The winner of the award will be announced on 4th April at the TARGETjobs Recruitment Awards in London.
