Employees of the University of Aberdeen who are EU citizens have the opportunity to submit their application for settled status or pre-settled status as part of the pilot for the proposed Settlement Scheme.
This comes as a result of an announcement from the Home Office confirming that the next testing phase of the pilot for the proposed Settlement Scheme will be available to EU citizens that are employed by or work at a HEI that hold a UK Visas and Immigration Tier 4 Licence.
The testing phase of the pilot will commence on the 15th November 2018 until 15th December 2018.
Further information will be provided ahead of the pilot phase commencing on 15 November 2018, and no action is required at present.
Please note that this pilot phase will only be open to employees, family members will be able to apply when the Scheme officially launches in March 2019.
