EDI Week @ Aberdeen 24 -28 September 2018

A week-long programme of activities has been organised by staff to celebrate and promote equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) for the benefit of the University entire community. All nine protected characteristics in the Equality Act (2010) will be covered in a series of speaker presentations, discussion panels and film shows. It is hoped attendees will gain new insights into the equality legislation as it affects them at work and study on campus, as well as in the wider society.

Events take place daily at evenings and lunchtimes from Monday 24th to Friday 28th September.

The EDI week is being organised in partnership with the Aberdeen branch of the University & College Union, the Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC) and the Business School Athena SWAN group.

The first event takes place on the evening of Monday 24th September at the Bishop's Table (behind Starbucks).
