Digital and Information Services
Survey results 2018

You told us what you think of our services in this year’s survey - now see the results online!

Library, Special Collections and Museums and IT Services recently merged to create a new Digital and Information Services Directorate. Together, we deliver a comprehensive package of digital and information services to the University community in support of teaching, learning, research and business.

Your input is vital to help us identify and respond to priorities, and in April we invited you to tell us what you think about our services by taking part in our annual user survey.

992 of you participated and the full results are now on the IT Services website.

So, how did we do?

When we asked you ‘How satisfied are you with the core Digital and Information services provided?’, 86% of you told us you were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’, a slight decrease from last year’s 88%. Despite this, 43% of you also believe our services have improved over the past year.

When we asked you ‘How satisfied are you with the Library services provided?’, 83% of you told us you were ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’, and 31% of you also believe services have improved over the past year.

Many of you took the time to comment on our services – thank you. These comments are hugely valuable, helping us understand your issues and concerns.

As ever, we welcome your feedback, whether on the survey or on our services in general. So if you have any comments or questions, please send them to a member of our Relationship Management Team.
