A session has been arranged to remind researchers/staff of the HEFCE requirements for open access publication and eligibility for submission of research outputs in the next REF.
In order for journal articles and certain conference proceedings to be eligible for submission to the next REF then within 3 months of acceptance for publication the research output must have been deposited on open access in AURA, the University’s repository (if necessary on closed access to respect publisher’s embargo perods).
The session will explain the requirements and overview the papersaccepted@abdn.ac.uk service here at Aberdeen which allows academics to comply with the HEFCE requirements. The requirement to comply comes into operation from 1 April 2016.
The arranged open session is as follows:

For CLSM: Monday 21 March, 12.00-13.00, 402 Conference Room, Suttie Centre. Foresterhill
