A round-table discussion - 'what is the role of the humanities in contemporary culture and politics?'

In 2012 the University of Aberdeen opened the Sir Duncan Rice Library - a major architectural landmark in the city and a statement of the importance of the humanities to life in the university, our city and the region as a whole. Two years on, this round-table asks what the role of the humanities is in contemporary culture and politics. All welcome.

This event is part of the Being Human Festival, which runs 15 - 23 November. To visit the full programme please visit www.abdn.ac.uk/engage/beinghuman
