The 92nd annual student show at His Majesty's Theatre.
Students from all across Aberdeen are taking to the stage to perform “Spital Shop of Horrors”, a parody of the much-loved musical “Little Shop of Horrors” featuring a man-eating plant.
Aberdeen's foremost plant geneticists have been hard at work creating a brand new breed of plant at Duthie Park Winter Gardens. When a local young florist gets hold of their new creation, his experience with the cute little shrub proves troublesome as he struggles to work out what the plant eats...
As always, the show promises a great story (with a local twist on the original plot!), fantastic chorus numbers and many laughs in His Majesty’s Theatre from the 17th to 20th April. Tickets are available from Aberdeen Box Office.
All money raised will go towards Aberdeen University’s Students’ Charities Campaign. Last year’s show, “Mary Torphins” raised a massive £58,000 for local charities. Find out more at www.studentshow.co.uk.
