COP29 of the UN Climate Change Convention takes place from 11-22 November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan, while COP16 of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity took place in Cali, Colombia, at the end of October. University of Aberdeen delegates were present at both events to share our ground-breaking research and global impact with opinion leaders and specialists in climate and biodiversity.
Reflections on Biodiversity and Climate Change will include perspectives on both events and the linkages between them. It will feature a panel discussion on the role of the COP conferences, with experts from Aberdeen sharing insights on the debates dominating the agendas, highlighting key takeaways and implications for future climate and biodiversity action.
This hybrid event takes place on Wednesday 11th December from 2pm – 4pm in New King’s 1 (and MS Teams). All are welcome to attend.
