Interested in the topic of creative methods in health research? We will be joined by Prof Ailish Hannigan (University of Limerick) and Prof Chris Murray (University of Dundee) for a seminar that will provide an opportunity to discuss research ideas related to this field, and network with colleagues with similar interests.
We are inviting University of Aberdeen researchers interested in the topic of creative methods in health research to a research seminar. We will be hosting two external researchers working in this field: Prof Ailish Hannigan (University of Limerick, Ireland) presenting “Arts, Data Literacy and Diversity” focusing on creative methods to disseminate health research findings in diverse communities and develop data literacy; and Prof Chris Murray (University of Dundee, Scotland) presenting “Creating Healthcare Comics” focusing on comics studies in healthcare research. The seminar will be an opportunity to discuss research ideas related to this field, and for researchers to network and meet colleagues with similar interests.
The seminar takes place on the 16th of October from 2-4PM at the level 7 of the IMS building (Foresterhill campus).

The seminar is supported by GWW Centre for Art and Visual Culture, and the Interdisciplinary Challenge Areas at the University of Aberdeen. It is organised by Dr Beatriz Goulao (School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition), Dr Silvia Casini (School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture), and Claire Robertson (School of Psychology).
