Join Scotland’s Minister for Just Transition, Employment and Fair Work, Mr Richard Lochhead as he gives an overview of the thinking behind the £500 million Just Transition Fund and why we need a just transition to a decarbonised Aberdeen and Scotland.

We will also hear from Alison Stuart, Hub Manager, NESCAN (North East Climate Action Network) a regional community climate action support hub, fully funded by the Scottish Government who will outline what NESCAN does and how you can be involved as well as Tavis Potts, Chair in Sustainable Development, University of Aberdeen about the latest findings from his research on a fair and just transition for the communities of the North-east.  After some short introductory talks, the speakers will take part in a Q&A with the audience, chaired by Professor John Underhill, Director, Centre for Energy Transition, University of Aberdeen.
