Professor Margaret Rees, an internationally recognised expert in women’s midlife health, will deliver a talk on managing the menopause, with practical guidance for women experiencing the menopause and for mangers wishing to support staff.
Professor Margaret Rees has an international reputation. A gynaecologist, she is Editor in Chief of Maturitas and Case Reports in Women’s Health and Executive Director of the European Menopause and Andropause Society. Her expertise has been recognised nationally and internationally, by appointments to a Readership in Reproductive Medicine at Oxford University; and visiting Professorships at Glasgow University and at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the University of Turku in Finland, and an Adjunct Associate Professorship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey.
The format for the session is as follows:

12.00 - 12.45 (i) Managing menopause symptoms both with HRT and without including alternative and complementary therapies; and (ii) What women can do for themselves and what employers should be doing?
