EXPLORATHON

EXPLORATHON will be back for the largest ever public engagement with research event, coordinated across over 300 cities on the one weekend.

In Aberdeen we will have lots of different opportunities for you to take part and bring your research to the public in novel ways.

• Pecha Kucha. 20 slides x 20 seconds! A fast paced lively style of talk in a total of 6 minutes 40 seconds in the Belmont Cinema. Training will be provided. A chance to bring your story and your research to the public.
• Bright Club.  Our comedy night: present your research as a stand-up comedy routine! We will provided specialist training and prepare you for this special night which normally takes place in a bar in town. 
• School Engagement. In partnership with Aberdeen Science Centre we will be delivering a day of schools’ activities at the Science Centre, let us know if you would like to present your research during the activities.
• Scouts and Guides. We can offer opportunities to take your research to youth groups of all ages.
