The LGBT Staff and Postgraduate Student Network will hold an Annual General Meeting

The LGBT+ Staff and Postgraduate Student Network will hold an Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 9 August at 10am in Committee Room 2, University Office. They will give a report on progress made in the last year, plans for the coming year, and their submission to the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. The group will also be restructuring the committee of the network to increase representation of the whole LGBT+ community. The following positions are available for nominations and selections:

• Co-chair (x2 with appropriate gender balance and diversity)

• Secretary

• Policy and Procedures Lead

• Communications and Publicity Lead

• Trans Representative

• Postgraduate Student Representative

The remit of the network is to work with the University to design and review policies which affect LGBT+ staff and postgraduate students and to promote the LGBT+ community at the University of Aberdeen through professional and social networking. We encourage representation from the entire spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity – please don’t forget that includes straight allies.
