Biography
Louise has a degree in Corporate Communications from the Robert Gordon University. Her focus has been on marketing, events and comms over the past 15+ years. She has been fortunate enough to work in a variety of roles in this sector in the UK and Australia. During her time there she worked for an investment bank in Sydney and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Since her return to Aberdeen, she has worked in a various comms roles ranging from an advertising agency, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and being a Marketing and Communications Officer with Aberdeenshire Council before joining the university in 2021.
Louise works for the School of Biological Sciences on their events, marketing and engagement. In 2023 she also joined the QUADRAT Team to oversee all of their events, with a particular focus on the Annual Science Meeting which takes place every October.
