Apply to Turing Data Study Group

Data Study Groups (DSGs) are intensive collaborative hackathons hosted at the Turing and bringing together organisations from industry, government and the third sector with talented multi-disciplinary researchers. Organisations act as DSG challenge owners to provide real-world problems and datasets that the successful applicants tackle by brainstorming and engineering solutions, presenting their work at the end of the event.

The Data Study Group challenges are:

  • British Geological Survey - Identifying potential for carbon capture and storage in rock
  • Transport for London - Identifying physical assets on the London Underground from the point cloud
  • UCL CHIMERA - Morbidity prediction using preoperative Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test results

Find out more and apply here (application deadline is Sunday 7th July).
