Research Overview
My research mainly examines the influences on women's health particularly in midlife and beyond, often using routinely collected data and includes:
- The Royal College of General Practioners' Oral Contraception Study (a prospective cohort study established in 1968).
- The influence of contemporary hormonal contraception on the risk of cancers in women of reproductive age.
- Uptake of cancer screening.
- Menopausal symptoms.
- Sequelae of common surgeries, commonly prescribed medications, pre-eclampsia and midlife lifestyle.
