Biography
Lead for Sports & Exercise BSc Programmes and Senior Lecturer at University of Aberdeen. An Advance HE fellow teaching across the medical sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate level, primarily in Sport and Exercise Science degree courses (Sport and Exercise Science, Exercise and Health and Applied Sports Science). I coordinate the Hotstart summer placements and a series of seminars in research skills over summer which is open to all our students. My primary research interests lie in understanding how bone shape and structure changes with exercise, disease and disuse. I specialize in medical image analysis and the use of data analytics in measurement of physical activity. Further details can be seen from the teaching or publications tabs or through links above.
